WORKSHOP 2
Created with the erasure poem exercise
I remember the way I felt.
I remember the excitement and the anticipation.
Here I see a cow peacefully grazing.
I remember the dark sky full of stars in mid-summer.
Here I see a tree spreading hope.
I remember the fresh air that purified our lungs.
Here I see the Earth.
I remember the drive to New York.
I remember the sound of laughter from a family gathering.
Here I see what is left behind.
I remember the warm lips of your embrace.
I remember the otter fishing among the ice flows.
Here I see a band of clouds across the equator.
I remember the cool grass under my feet.
Here I see empty houses forlorn.
Here I see burrs that stick on clothes.
Here I see the warm weather.
Here I see the water wishing away every negativity.
Here I see the icy outside world.
I remember the seagulls singing to their friends.
Here I see the orange and yellow shades of the distant mountains in Fall.
Here I see the empty space.
Here I see black clouds.
Here I see a woman heaping grass.
