Created via a series of prompts where participants had to remember a meaningful place on Earth. They were then led through a sensory guided meditation that invited them to imagine a fictional planet. These are responses to a juxtaposition of memories of a real place (I remember), and a fictional imagined planet or place (Here I see.)

ELLIE

The black dog chases a Frisbee.

Lush in a pink “barbe a papa” sky.
All is gone except these twin shapes in the sand.
Please don’t let me stay here too long.
I said I wanted to stay forever, but that was another time, another place, another world. 

Pastel yellow giant flowers are visited by butterflies, but the sun has gone down. 

People are packing in their beach umbrellas and towels. 

The core would be solid.
